Point-normalInterpolatory B-spline Curve and Surfacewith Minimal Energy

  • An algorithm based on the interpolation points and normals of B-spline curve surfaces with minimal energy is proposed. Firstly, the constraint equations are listed based on interpolation points and normals, and then the energy function is introduced to solve the energy pole hour constraint equation by using the Lagrange multiplier method, and then the B-spline interpolation curve surface with very small energy is obtained. The numerical example shows that compared with the interpolated curve surface without energy constraint, the curve surface obtained by this method is smoother and better.
