Abstract
The openness of Internet plus collaborative manufacturing(CoM)(especially the"across-management-domain" feature) leads to the uncontrollability obstacle of CoM activities and causes the trust crisis for CoM, seriously hindering the development of CoM applications. In order to remove the obstacle, this paper proposes a brand-new application architecture mode: social-level norm-based macro-governance for CoM processes. The mode upgrades the development of CoM applications to the social level, formulates the social-dependence norms for constraining CoM activities as the basis for macro-governing the social-level macro-behavior of CoM partners, and constructs the rational agents, which possess the desire and ability for conforming to those norms, as enterprise brokers. An emulated application case: intelligent monitoring equipment manufacturing for manufacturer "Zhejiang Dahua Technology" is given. The running results show that this mode can not only remove the uncontrollable obstacles of across-management-domain CoM activities and eliminate the trust crisis, but also reduce greatly the difficulty and complexity for developing and maintaining CoM applications, and achieve the timeliness of CoM implementation which CoM applications expect but the traditional architecture mode cannot achieve.
