Abstract
The movement of shipboard aircrafts includes two parts: moving on a deck and flying in the sky. The two-dimensional deck jolts when it undergoes a serious condition. The three-dimensional (3D) airspace is large. Therefore, it is challenging to model shipboard aircraft swarm movements. There is little public information about shipboard aircraft swarm modeling so far. Though we can use researches of aircraft swarm models for reference, most of these models don't model movements of aircrafts in their whole flight spaces. To tackle the aforemen- tioned problems, we present a 3D cellular automata model under the Frenet frame to simulate shipboard aircraftmovements. We firstly generate the 3D Frenet moving frame along an airline. We then use the 3D cellular auto- mata model under the frame to compute shipboard aircrafts' movements in the whole airspace. Experimental re- sults show that our model can simulate shipboard aircrafts' landing and cruising behaviors in various conditions. It can realize real time computations for 80 thousand shipboard aircrafts in 5 thousand kilometers.
