Abstract
In this paper,we propose a novel method to simulate the behaviors of individuals, social groups and the interactivities between them in emergency evacuation.Firstly,we analyze the factors which may affect individual’s behaviors. Then,a unified space is proposed to quantify all these factors,in which the solution process of preferred velocity for different individuals can be executed. Finally, the preferred velocity is solved based on the social group that the individual belongs to and the familiarity of the surrounding environments. The experimental results indicate that the proposed method can simulate the evacuation behaviors of individuals and social groups more realistically.
