Survey of Pedestrian Motion Modeling Methods

As a popular research direction in the field of virtual reality in recent years, pedestrian motion modeling has important application value in the fields of entertainment, public safety, and intelligent transportation. This paper divides the existing pedestrian motion modeling methods into two dimensions: rule -data driven and macro-micro dimensions. Typical models of various pedestrian modeling methods as well as their latest research progress are introduced. At the same time, the characteristics of each method are analyzed. Finally, the challenges existing in the current pedestrian motion modeling methods and the future development direction are discussed
