产品廓形曲线的几何特征语义描述与风格解析技术

Geometric Feature Semantic Description and Style Analytical Technique of Product Profile Curves

  • 摘要: 为辅助设计师设计出符合市场需求风格的产品,以指导产品风格造型设计,提出了廓形线几何特征与风格意象之间的关联方法.首先提出长度比率、非直线度、凸起凹陷度和S-Shaped度4个评价指标来定义各廓形功能曲线段的整体几何特征,并通过定性化归类得到各评价指标的语义化描述,进而组合得到产品廓形线的几何特征语义描述;然后结合问卷调查和统计分析实现廓形曲线风格解析,建立了廓形线几何特征语义和风格意象之间的定量关联解析关系.将该方法应用于陶瓷瓶、眼镜、鼠标等产品设计的实例结果表明,利用廓形曲线的几何特征语义与风格意象的关联关系,可有效地辅助用户进行风格造型设计.

     

    Abstract: To assist in designing products with the market demanded styles, this paper presents a method based on the correlation between the geometrical features of the profile and style images.Four evaluating indicators, including length ratio, non-straightness, convex?concave degree and S-Shaped degree, are chosen to characterize the geometrical features of each functional non-closed curve.By classifying the semantic value of each feature indicator qualitatively, the integrated semantic description of geometric feature for profile curves of the object product is obtained.Subsequently, combining with the results of questionnaire survey and statistical analysis, we build the quantitative analytical correlations between the geometrical feature semantic of the profile curves and style images.Finally, some applications in the products of ceramic bottle, glass and mouse are given, which demonstrate that the proposed method is sufficiently effective and helpful in product style design.
