基于角度累加的鲁棒角点检测算法

Robust Corner Detection Algorithm Based on Angle Accumulation

  • 摘要: 为了更好地进行角点检测,提出一种基于角度累加的鲁棒角点检测算法.首先定义反映边缘点特征的角度累加概念,并在"单弦"下计算边缘点的角度累加值来获取候选角点,避免邻近角点的丢失;然后构造局部自适应阈值来去除圆形角点,并提出其支撑邻域和比例系数的选取方法;最后通过"多弦"下的角度累加乘积来获取角点特征值,并构造全局阈值来去除虚假角点.实验结果表明,该算法提高了角点检测正确率,并且在角点重复率及定位误差方面也优于其他算法.

     

    Abstract: For detecting image corner better,a robust corner detection algorithm based on the angle accumulation is proposed.Firstly,the angle accumulation concept is defined to reveal the feature of edge points; then one can obtain the candidate corners under single-chord setting for avoiding loss of adjacent corners.Secondly,a local adaptive threshold as well as the extraction method of supporting region and coefficients is presented to remove the round corners.Finally,the product of angle accumulations is computed for obtaining corners’ feature value under multi-chord,and a global threshold is constructed for removing false corners.The experimental results show that the proposed algorithm achieves better accuracy of corner detection,and behaves better in repeatability and localization error than state-of-the-art algorithms.
