c3通道高分辨率遥感图像阴影检测算法的改进

Improvement of Shadow Detection Algorithm Based on c3 Component for High-resolution Remote Sensing Images

  • 摘要: 针对c3通道对噪声非常敏感,以及现有的基于c3通道遥感图像阴影检测算法存在的阴影检测不准确问题,提出改进的c3通道高分辨率遥感阴影检测算法.利用对数变换和阈值法对c3通道图像进行增强,提高了c3通道图像阴影区域与非阴影区域的对比度,进而提高了阴影像素的辨识度;通过扩展邻域范围并增加影响因子较高的像素点的权重进行图像平滑,有效地减弱了噪声对阴影像素提取的影响;增加2个方向的模板,利用高斯分布和抽样方法确定边缘阈值,提高了阴影区域边缘检测的准确度.实验结果表明,该算法提高了阴影检测的准确度,适应性较强,可较好地应用于高分辨率遥感图像的处理.

     

    Abstract: This paper proposes an improved shadow detection algorithm based on c3 component for remote sensing images, aiming at the sensitivity of c3 to noise and the inaccuracy of the available algorithms of c3 component. Use of logarithmic transformation and thresholding method in image enhancement improves the contrast ratio of shadowed to non-shadowed area, thus increasing the recognizability of shadowed pixels. Neighborhood was extended and weights of influential pixels were increased for image smoothing, which decreases noise effect on shadow extraction. By adding operators in two directions and selecting edge threshold based on Gaussian distribution and sampling method, accuracy of shadow edge detection is improved. Experimental results show that the proposed method increases the accuracy of shadow detection and has a strong adaptability, thus can be well applied into the process of high-resolution remote sensing images.
