Visual Analysis of Gameplay Data

  • 摘要: 随着在线网络游戏的盛行以及相应游戏环境的复杂化和游戏玩家数量的增多,利用海量玩家行为数据来理解分析玩家行为和评估游戏表现越来越受到重视.为了使得成千上万的游戏数据能够被直观有效地理解,研究人员尝试使用了相应的可视分析方法和技术.文中主要考虑游戏开发者的任务,从游戏表现评估和玩家行为分析两大方向出发,总结并探讨了完成这些任务的可视化文献以及相应的可视化技术进展和挑战,并提出对解决这些任务的可视化工具和技术的展望.

     

    Abstract: As online game becomes popular, gaming environment gets complicated and game player population bursts, using large behavior data of player to analyze and understand players' behaviors and game performance is taken more seriously. To assure effectiveness and intuitiveness when understanding thousands of data, researchers tried corresponding visual methods and techniques. This paper, which is concerned with the tasks of game developers, summarizes and discusses the development and challenge of prior work and corresponding techniques on two directions, game performance evaluation and analysis of players' behavior, as well as suggesting the future work of visualization tool and techniques.
