头盔式和桌面式虚拟训练系统与地图在导航训练中的对比评估

Head-mounted Display and Desktop in Virtual Training System Versus Maps for Navigation Training: a Comparative Evaluation

  • 摘要: 使用虚拟现实技术训练航天员是一种趋势.文中以一套航天员虚拟训练系统为平台,以导航训练为实验任务,从任务绩效、脑力负荷与仿真病、可用性主观感受等方面,对头盔式显示和桌面式显示2种虚拟训练系统配置与地图进行对比评估.评估结果表明,虚拟训练系统相对地图训练效果更好,同时仿真病也比较明显;头盔式与桌面式在正常能见度下训练效果无显著差异,在低能见度下头盔式训练效果更好,但头盔式仿真病更强.

     

    Abstract: Training astronauts using VR technology is a trend.Based on an astronaut virtual training system,head-mounted display(HMD) and desktop for navigation in virtual environments versus maps were evaluated concerning performance,mental workload,simulator sickness and usability.The results show that the subjects trained with virtual training system outperform the subjects trained with maps,but their simulate sicknesses are higher.No significant performance differences are found between the HMD group and the desktop group in normal visibility condition.However,the HMD group performed better than the desktop group in low visibility condition.Meanwhile,the HMD group perceived more simulate sicknesses.
