图形面板布局特征对人机交互效率的影响

Effects of Graphical Panel Layout Characteristics on Human-Computer Interactive Efficiency

  • 摘要: 为进一步提高用户与人机界面的交互效率,通过对大量图形用户界面的分析,以图标为基本元素,将图形面板的布局特征分为图标的大小、面板结构、面板方向及面板所处的屏幕位置等,通过2组图标搜索与点击操作实验,考察了图形面板的布局特征与反应时间的关系.研究结果表明:图标越小,面板的长边与短边的比值越大,用户完成搜索与点击操作任务的反应时间就越长;面板位于屏幕上方比面板位于屏幕下方时的反应时间更短,而面板位于屏幕左右两侧时没有显著差异;横向面板比纵向面板的反应时间更短,并且面板的长边与短边的比值越大,横向面板和纵向面板的反应时间差异就越大.

     

    Abstract: In order to further enhance the user and human-computer interface interaction efficiency,after analyzing a great number of graphical user interfaces,the graphical panel layout characteristics based on icon was divided into icon size,panel structure,panel direction and screen position.Two groups of icon searching and clicking experiments were conducted to exploring the relationship between graphical panel layout characteristics and reaction time.The results show that smaller icon size and bigger ratio value of panel's longer side and shorter side result in significantly raised reaction time;Reaction time is shorter for panel displayed on top screen than bottom screen,but has no difference between panel displayed on left and right;Relative to horizontal panel,reaction time is longer for vertical panel,and the difference of reaction time is greater when the ratio value of panel's longer side and shorter side become higher.
