Socket Layout Planning Based on Furniture Layout Examples

  • 摘要: 插座布局设计是住宅室内设计中必不可少的一环,其安装位置直接关系到家具的布局安排.针对三维住宅场景提出了一种插座自动布局算法.基于家具布局样例和相关建筑条例,首先,对插座的安全约束、使用需求和被遮挡情况进行数学建模;其次,通过最大后验估计计算出同时满足安全性、必要性和通用性的插座位置;最后,综合美观性约束确定房间整体的插座布局方案.通过李克特量表调查用户对插座布局方案在合理性、实用性和通用性等维度上的综合评分,该算法生成的方案得分高于由专业设计师设计的方案,表明该算法结果可为室内装修设计提供参考.

     

    Abstract: The planning of socket layout is an essential part of residential interior design, as its placement is directly related to furniture layout. An automatic layout planning method for sockets in 3D residential scene is proposed. Firstly based on furniture layout examples and relevant building regulations, it mathematically models the safety constraints, electrical needs and accessibility of sockets. Secondly, it calculates the socket positions that satisfy safety, necessity and universality via maximum a posteriori estimation. Finally, the overall socket layout of the room is determined with the aesthetic constraints taken into consideration. By using a Likert scale to investigate users’ overall evaluation of socket layouts in terms of reasonableness, practicability and universality, the layouts generated by the proposed method achieve higher scores than the ones annotated by professional designer, which suggests that the proposed method can provide a reference for interior design.
