参数域边界平直化的模型表面参数化方法

Algorithm of Surface Model Parameterization with Parameter Domain Boundary as Straight as Possible

  • 摘要: 为了支持简化模型纹理边界、满足模型简化中纹理映射需求,提出了一种参数域边界平直化的模型表面参数化方法.给出了由变换能量、防翻转能量和稀疏能量组成的能量方程.求解时引入辅助变量并求得近似解.实验中分别使用文中方法和已有参数化方法进行比较.在使用缺省参数情况下,文中方法面积和角度扭曲都处于合理范围.将不同参数化方法得到的带纹理模型简化到相同简化率.从简化误差数值和简化后视觉效果进行定量定性分析,都证实了文中方法更具优越性.进一步可以将其应用到游戏、航空等领域.

     

    Abstract: In order to support texture seam simplification and meet the requirement of texture mapping in mesh simplification,we introduce a parameterization method of surface model with parametric domain boundaries as straight as possible.The energy function is composed of transformation,anti-flip and sparsity items.Introducing auxiliary variable,we get approximate solution.In our experiments,we make a comparison between the proposed method and peering ones.Using default parameters,the proposed method is within a reasonable range of angle and area distortions.Further,we simplify the textured models using various parameterization methods to the same rates.Based on quantitative and visual comparisons,we confirm the advantages of the proposed algorithm.The proposed algorithm may be potentially applied to 3D games,aviation simulation and other fields.
