基于最优曝光的最小包围曝光集合获取方法

An Acquisition Method of Minimal-Bracketing Sets Based on Optimal Exposure

  • 摘要: 针对传统的基于多曝光的高动态范围成像方法存在冗余信息多、总曝光时间长的不足,提出一种基于最优曝光的最小包围曝光集合的获取方法.利用目标相机可捕获最大曝光到最小曝光的图像序列,计算出目标相机的辐射域动态范围,并以此作为目标相机基准;在实际多曝光捕获时,只需计算目标场景最优曝光图像的动态范围,以及目标场景最小、最大辐照度,即可得到目标场景的基于最优曝光的最小包围曝光集合.利用典型的高动态范围场景对不同集合合成的高动态范围图像进行实验的结果表明,该方法在保证所获得高动态范围图像质量的前提下,相比传统的包围曝光集合获取方法,可有效地减少高动态范围成像所需低动态范围图像的数量,降低多曝光图像集合总捕获时间,节省存储空间.

     

    Abstract: In order to improve the disadvantages of many redundant information and more exposure time in traditional multi-exposure technology on optimal exposure image,a method of acquisition minimal-bracketing sets is proposed in this paper.According to this method,the dynamic range of the target camera in the radiation domain can be calculated using image sequence from the maximum exposure to the minimum exposure captured by the target camera.And this range is used as the benchmark of the target camera.When we capture the multi-exposure images,the minimal-bracketing sets based on the optimal exposure of the target scene can be obtained through calculating the dynamic range of the optimal exposure image of the target scene and the maximum and the minimum irradiation of the target scene.The experimental results of high dynamic range images synthesized from different sets using typical high dynamic range scenes show,compared with the traditional bracketing sets acquisition method,the proposed method can effectively reduce not only the number of low dynamic range images in high dynamic range imaging but the total capture time of multi-exposure images as well as saving storage space in case of ensuring the quality of high dynamic range images.
