序列图像种子蔓延肤色识别算法

Skin Color Detection with Spread Seed in Sequence of Frames

  • 摘要: 传统的基于建模的肤色识别算法只利用了先验知识(训练好的肤色模型),判定信息来源不充足,且用于区分肤色和非肤色的阈值难以选择,导致分割效果不理想.基于此,提出基于局部信息一致性的序列图像种子蔓延分割算法.该算法以递变阈值产生的序列图像为基础,首先选择初始种子点,再根据连通性和局部信息一致性进行种子蔓延,从而求得肤色识别结果.实验结果表明,将现有的基于建模型的肤色分割算法结合文中算法之后,肤色识别效果得到显著提升.

     

    Abstract: The segmentation results of traditional skin detection algorithms are always unsatisfactory for the insufficient determination information and difficult choice of the threshold. So a novel skin color detection method is proposed, whose main idea is spreading from the initial skin seeds according to some rules referring to the connectivity and consistency of local information based on a sequence of images to obtain the final recognition result. Experimental results show that after combining with the proposed method, the results of traditional skin color segmentation algorithms can be significantly improved.
