Abstract:
With the rapid development of high performance computing, full-size sample analysis has become possible in data visualization. Meanwhile, people need more advanced display techniques to understand information like multichannel and high resolution exhibition. Large-screen splicing visualization is a practicable research area offering big scale frames and an interactive environment in many applications. In this paper, we introduce the concept and compare the related works on large screen splicing visualization techniques. We analyze four aspects, namely, hardware, software, interactive visual analysis and data synchronization techniques. Finally, we summarize the challenges and discuss future research on this topic.
