基于预测误差扩展的高动态范围图像可逆数据隐藏

PEE-Based Reversible Data Hiding for High Dynamic Range Image

  • 摘要: 针对高动态范围(HDR)图像组成通道复杂、数据隐藏较为困难的问题,提出一种基于预测误差扩展的HDR图像可逆数据隐藏算法.首先采用光辉格式编码HDR图像;然后利用HDR图像组成通道间的冗余性,把像素分为平滑和边缘像素2类;再对这2类像素分别采取不同的嵌入方式,并根据排序策略依次对像素点嵌入数据;最后在提取端提取信息之后,载体图像可以完整恢复.实验结果表明,相对于传统数据隐藏算法,该算法更好地利用了HDR图像通道间的相互关系,在图像失真较少的情况下可以隐藏更多的数据.

     

    Abstract: Considering the complexity of channels which constitute the high dynamic range(HDR) image, it is hard to hide information into HDR images. In this paper, a reversible data hiding algorithm for HDR images based on prediction-error expansion(PEE) is proposed. First, HDR images are encoded using radiance format. Second, the redundancy existing in channels is exploited to classify the pixels into flat and edge areas. Then, adopt two different embedding manners for different areas to embed data into pixels according to the sorted order. Finally, the cover HDR images can be fully recovered after data extraction. Various experiment results show that compared to traditional methods, the proposed method make better use of the redundancy among channels, and thus achieve high embedding capacity with low distortion in the stego image.
