Abstract:
A technical framework based on multi-view image sequences reconstruction is proposed to realize the 3D model reconstruction of the high-power laser facility where thousands of large opto-mechanical units shall be assembled in the optics assembly building(OAB), with stringent specifications both on accuracy and cleanliness. Firstly, fundamental methodologies related to the multi-view image sequence reconstruction, including features recognition, matching and adaptive point-cloud sampling, etc., are discussed in detail. Secondly, a 3D reconstruction procedure based on the meta-data from laser trackers is presented, which is applied to the 3D engineering reconstruction of the optics assembly building(OAB). Finally, initial results show a robust performance of the proposed technical framework and pave a promising way for further applications in future.
