人脸皱纹的三维提取与量化

Three-Dimensional Extraction and Quantification of Facial Wrinkles

  • 摘要: 为了准确、客观地评价人脸皱纹程度,实现人脸皱纹的三维提取,提出一种基于一阶导数相等的光滑曲面拟合方法.该方法基于皱纹生成过程的模拟,将皱纹区域视为光滑曲面与皱纹纹理的叠加;结合皱纹评价的主观判断方法与三维纹理参数,采用皱纹数量、平均皱纹深度、皱纹最大深度、皱纹绝对面积等参数对人脸皱纹进行了量化.对人脸额头与眼外眦区域皱纹的实验结果表明,文中方法可真实地表现人脸皱纹的三维细节,不易受光照与角度的影响,可有效地实现皱纹的三维提取与量化.

     

    Abstract: To extract three-dimensional facial wrinkles and assess the degree of facial wrinkles accurately and objectively, a three-dimensional detection approach of facial wrinkles based on the curve fitting method with continous first derivation is proposed. The approach simulates the growth procedure of facial wrinkles and treats the field of facial wrinkles as the composition of wrinkles and sleek curve. The parameters including number of wrinkles, overall average wrinkle depth, average largest wrinkle depth and absolute wrinkle area are used to quantify facial wrinkles under the consideration of the subjective judgment approaches and the three-dimensional features of facial wrinkles. The experimental results of facial forehead and facial periorbital area show that the approach in this paper can illuminate the three-dimensional details of facial wrinkles and is not affected by the light and direction easily. The approach achieves three-dimensional extraction and quantification of facial wrinkles.
