Real-time Simulation of Sky and Sun in Clear Day

摘要: 依据大气散射原理,总结了晴天时太阳与天空在各个时刻的颜色及亮度特征,并在全天范围内对其进行了实时仿真.通过对纹理图采样模拟了全天不同时刻的大气Rayleigh散射,提出简化的指数公式模拟大气Mie散射,再利用自调节Key值的高动态范围光照技术实现各个时刻太阳天空及地面的高动态光照亮度.对比分析结果显示,在保证实时性的同时,采用该方法达到了更好的逼真度.Abstract: Based on the atmospheric scattering principle,the paper summarizes the color and brightness characteristics of the Sun and sky in clear days at different time,and accordingly a real-time simulation to the characteristics is made in a day.We simulate the atmospheric Rayleigh scattering by sampling the gradients map and propose a simplified index formula to simulate the atmospheric Mie scattering.Furthermore,the high dynamic illumination of the Sun,sky and ground with auto-key high dynamic range lighting is taken into account in the simulation.The analysis to the experimental results shows that our system can achieve both real-time performance and high fidelity effects.
