Abstract: A novel method to reconfigure styles of line drawings is presented.In view of the shape of a line drawing and its stroke features,the planar shape evolution theory is applied to smooth or enhance these shape features and adjusting the corresponding strokes width to get different styles of the drawing. Comparing to previous methods,this approach doesn’t need examples and the extent of transformation can be controlled to improve the freedom of style reconfiguration for line drawings.
