Abstract:
According to the architecture characteristics of distributed memory parallel computers,a two-level parallel computing system for structural dynamic numerical simulation is proposed. The data for parallel computing is firstly prepared through two-level partitioning and is distributed to the local memory of each node. Then, during the structural dynamic analysis through further reducing the problem size and effectively improving the communication rate, the solving time of interface equations as well as the total solution time is considerably reduced. The system's working principles, parallel computing process and the related software development tools for implementation are described in detail. Finally, the validity of the proposed system was verified with typical numerical examples.
