A Gestalt Design Approach for Large Scale Low Coverage New Media Space

摘要: 在大型沉浸体验展览或娱乐项目中,由于技术和成本的限制,大尺度空间中的新媒体覆盖密度相对较低,这往往导致观众沉浸体验的"断裂".文中从格式塔心理学中的完形认知原理出发,从"感官"和"空间"2个角度,分析大型新媒体空间设计案例,探讨如何对"体验断裂"进行"弹性修复",并提出了一个弹性的沉浸体验设计方法框架,鼓励观众从认知的角度主动参与到沉浸感的构建中.Abstract: In large immersive projects,the coverage of digital media is relatively low,comparing to the scale of the physical space,which might break audience’s immersion.Based on Gestalt theory,this article proposes an"elastic"design approach to"fix"the inconsistence.By analyzing multiple new media projects,the author developed an immersive design framework,which involves audience’s cognition to connect the"disconnections"and build up a more positive but less costed immersive new media space.
