面向移动终端图像显示的节能模型

Energy Saving Model for Mobile Terminal Image Display

  • 摘要: 为了解决移动终端屏幕显示的耗电量高而影响续航能力问题,提出一种限定视觉距离的颜色表生成策略,并将其应用于图像的颜色重构.其主要策略是基于给定的参数,即亮度与颜色距离的初始值,生成颜色视觉距离限定的颜色表.图像的颜色重构是根据屏幕显示不同颜色所需的能耗差异,将图像中能耗高的颜色结构替换成低能耗的颜色组合.选用主流的移动终端作为实验设备,用仪器测量获取屏幕显示图像的原始耗电量数据;通过拟合测量所得的耗电量数据来搭建耗电量评估模型,验证搭载有机发光二极管屏幕的移动设备显示不同颜色结构图像对耗电量的影响.在此基础上,对图像的颜色进行重构,以优化屏幕显示该图像所需的耗电量,可广泛应用于移动导航地图等.实验结果表明,提出的图像重构策略使屏幕显示该图像的能耗约节省35%,且图像重构前后的结构相似性达到95%.

     

    Abstract: In order to solve the problem that the high power consumption of mobile terminal screen affects the endurance ability,a color table generation strategy for defining the visual distance is proposed and applied to the color reconstruction of the image.The main strategy is to generate a color table defined by color visual distance based on the given parameters,which is the initial value of luminance and color distance.The color reconstruction of the image is to replace the energy-consuming color structure of the image with the low energy consumption color combination according to the difference of energy consumption required by the different colors displayed on the screen.This paper selects the mainstream mobile terminal as the experimental equipment to obtain the original power consumption data of the screen.By fitting the measured power consumption data,a power consumption evaluation model is built to verify the influence of different color structure images on the power consumption of mobile devices with organic light-emitting diode screens.On this basis,the color of the image is reconstructed to optimize the power consumption of the screen to display the image,which can be widely used in mobile navigation maps and so on.The experimental results show that the proposed image reconstruction strategy saves about 35% of the energy consumption of the screen image,and the structural similarity of the image before and after reconstruction is about 95%.
