Cable Target Image Segmentation Method for Manual Cable Laying Process

摘要: 线缆手工敷设的弯曲程度是影响线缆敷设质量一项关键指标.为获取手工敷设过程中所操作的线缆区域,即线缆目标图像区域,提出一种面向手工装配的线缆目标图像的分割方法.首先对于第一视角下线缆手工装配现场图像在HSV颜色空间下分割线缆连通区域,根据区域轮廓得到线缆目标区域的最小矩形包围盒;然后利用YCrCb颜色空间分割出线缆手工装配时双手区域,对该区域应用曲率分析法获取双手拇指信息;再基于二维方向包围盒相交原理分析双手拇指点与所有最小矩形包围盒的位置关系,求得线缆目标包围盒;最后对线缆目标图像轮廓,采用漫水填充算法制作掩模图像,得到线缆目标图像.实验结果证明,该方法能较好地分割手工装配操作过程中线缆目标图像,并用于分析装配线缆弯曲的程度.Abstract: The cable bending curvature in manual cable laying is one of the key performance indicators,which exerts influence on cable laying quality.In order to obtain cable target area being assembled in cable laying process,a target image segmentation method considering manual operation is proposed to get the cable region image during the operating.Given a cable image from egocentric vision,all minimum rectangular bounding boxes for cable target regions are calculated according to cable connected areas segmented in HSV color space.Meanwhile,hand areas in cable assembly image are extracted in YCrCb color space and thumb points are detected by curvature analysis method.Then,the positional relations between thumb points and all rectangular bounding boxes are estimated on the basis of 2D orientation bounding box intersection principal.In this way,the target bounding box belonging to cable target region can be found.Finally,contour of cable target image is pinpointed by target bounding box,and it helps to get the cable target image by producing mask image with flood-fill algorithm.The experiment shows the method above could meet the requirement of segmenting the cable target image,which can be used to analyze curvature of assembling cable.
