Feature Sequence Reconstrustruction of 3D CAD Stretching Model for Reuse

  • 摘要: 三维CAD模型的再利用可以提高产品的开发周期周期, 从而降低成本. 三维模型通过中性交换文件在造型系统间交换时通常会丢失模型的造型特征信息. 为了能够对这些模型通过修改特征实现重用, 需要重建建模的造型特征序列, 即识别建模的特征与建模过程. 为此, 通过分析建模特征相交的痕迹实现特征识别, 运用布尔运算对每次识别出的特征与原模型进行分离处理, 更新模型数据; 如此对造型特征边识别边消除, 使特征识别问题不断简化, 较好地解决了造型中特征相交引起的特征识别和分割困难的问题. 抽取ESB模型库中的部分模型进行测试, 测试结果表明该方法可有效地实现CAD模型建模特征序列的重建, 为三维模型的重用奠定了基础.

     

    Abstract:  The reuse of 3D CAD model can improve the product development cycle and reduce the cost. Modeling features are often lost when 3D models are exchanged between modeling systems using neutral exchange files. In order to reuse these models by modifying features, it is necessary to reconstruct the modeling feature sequence, which involves identifying the features and modeling processes. To this end, feature recognition is implemented by analyzing the traces of intersecting modeling features. Boolean operation is used to separate the identified features from the original model and update the model data. In this way, the modeling features are recognized and eliminated, which simplifies the problem of feature recognition and segmentation and better solves the problem of feature recognition and segmentation caused by feature intersection in modeling. Testing on a subset of models from the ESB model library shows that the method can reconstruct the modeling feature sequence of CAD model effectively, which lays a foundation for the reuse of 3D model.
